The secret’s out: EARL Hawai‘i is launching a new secret sandwich menu starting tomorrow, Feb. 1. The three sandwiches on the secret menu will be available at all EARL Hawai‘i locations, according to restaurant owner Justin Parvizimotlagh.

The secret menu items are loaded sandwiches ($27 each) that feature next-level versions of pre-existing sandwiches, according to Parvizimotlagh. They will be listed on the business’s online ordering system as “Combo No. 1,” “Combo No. 2,” and “Combo No. 3” with no description listed, to keep with the “if you know, you know” secret menu theme. If you’re ordering in person at the store, just ask about the secret menu.
“They’re all going to be massive, footlong sandwiches,” Parvizimotlagh says. “I made one of these sandwiches for myself once, and it was awesome.”
The sandwiches are based on flavors Parvizimotlagh likes and would want to eat.

This larger-than-life cheesesteak is a grander version of EARL’s cheesesteak ($17.95) from the eatery’s regular menu. It includes chipotle mayo, provolone, white American cheese, onions, mushrooms, sweet peppers, cherry peppers and cheese whiz on a footlong semolina baguette, with double the amount of USDA prime top sirloin.
EARL’s cheesesteak is one of the top-selling menu items, so this is sure to please anyone with a serious cheesesteak craving.

Combo No. 2 is a variation of combo No. 1, but with pastrami. It contains the same toppings — chipotle mayo, provolone, white American cheese, onions, mushrooms, sweet peppers, cherry peppers and cheese whiz on a footlong semolina baguette — but with double amounts of pastrami.
“We don’t have anything like this on the menu because we don’t have a pastrami cheesesteak,” Parvizimotlagh says.

The last combo is designed for meat lovers, and it’s my favorite of the three. This footlong semolina baguette features layers of double chicken cutlet, salami, capicola, soppressata and prosciutto. The meats are topped with creamy balsamic, lettuce, tomatoes, sweet peppers, fresh mozzarella, cherry peppers and a parmesan blend.
The breaded chicken cutlet is crispy on the outside and juicy inside. It’s already packed with so much flavor that it makes this sandwich even more extra.
“We did a chicken cutlet special a few weeks ago; people liked it a lot,” Parvizimotlagh says. “This one has all the toppings and the fixings.”

“If you want this treat for yourself, you can have it,” he says. “It would be like your splurge of the day or your cheat day; it’s not for the faint of heart.”
