This new line of chocolates is almost too pretty to eat — almost.

KOHO, Hawaiian Host Group’s line of Island-inspired artisanal chocolates, has a new flagship store in Royal Hawaiian Center.
To celebrate the store’s grand opening, KOHO launched a new praline collection. The pralines come in four flavors — signature macadamia praline, Kona macadamia praline, pineapple macadamia praline and coconut macadamia praline, according to Theresa Tuxhorn, KOHO managing director.
“Our pralines feature a creamy, crunchy macadamia butter filling,” says Tuxhorn. “The artisanal confections are made with locally sourced Hawaiian cocoa and stamped with colorful, edible cocoa butter patterns.”
The praline collection includes a 6-piece box ($20), 12-piece box ($38) and Voyager Combo Pink 18-piece box ($54). This mix blends pralines and bon bons, and includes the new praline flavors, along with guava caramel, lilikoʻi carmel and Hawaiian sea salt caramel bon bons.

Previously, KOHO had temporary pop-ups at Ala Moana Center and on Kalākaua Avenue.
“This is a permanent space and we are excited to have our flagship location based in Royal Hawaiian Center,” Tuxhorn says. “What makes our in-store experience special is that customers have the opportunity to curate their own flavor journey and choose the flavors from our customization bar.”

KOHO’s confections are made using locally sourced ingredients, including Hawaiian cocoa grown on O‘ahu’s north shore. Both milk and dark Hawaiian cacao are used to create KOHO’s bonbons, chocolate tablets and chocolate-covered macadamias.
The bonbons are known for their colorful, dome-shaped shells, which are designed to mirror Hawaiʻi’s vast landscapes and scenery. Popular flavors include macadamia blossom honey caramel, Hawaiian sea salt caramel, Kona coffee caramel and lilikoʻi caramel.

In the year to come, customers can look forward to more creative flavors and innovative products from the brand, according to Tuxhorn.
“We look to continue to craft the finest island inspired flavors and turn them into beautiful confections,” she says. “Stay connected on social media or sign up on our email list to be the first to know about our seasonal flavors and limited-edition launches.”
