The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa athletics department has announced a department-wide apparel deal with Nike.

In conjunction with BSN Sports, the Rainbow Wahine and Rainbow Warriors will be outfitted by Nike from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2032.

Hawai‘i's teams are currently outfitted by Adidas, a deal that began after Under Armour prematurely pulled out of its UH sponsorship in the summer of 2021.

UH's football teams were outfitted by Nike in the early 2000s until signing with Under Armour prior to the 2008 season. The UH women's basketball teams were outfitted by Nike in the beginning of Laura Beeman's tenure, but switched to Under Armour when the school signed a department-wide deal in 2017, the first time all 21 teams were represented by the same outfitter.

BSN Sports is a marketer, manufacturer and distributor of sporting goods and equipment. The company will help facilitate the deal between Nike and UH. More than 150,000 amateur sports teams are handled by BSN Sports.

"We are excited about this new partnership with Nike and BSN Sports. The Nike brand helps us in so many ways and we look forward to collaborating with them and BSN Sports to provide quality apparel and service for our student-athletes," said UH acting athletics director Lois Manin in a press release.

Added Todd Northrop, BSN's Vice President of Collegiate Select: "We are thrilled for the opportunity to partner alongside Nike in supporting University of Hawai'i Athletics and their continued growth over the next seven years. Through our collegiate partnerships nationwide, we have sharpened the collegiate service experience and understand the unique needs in this space. This partnership will undoubtedly benefit the athletes, coaches and supporters of UH Athletics with top-tier access to premier NIKE product and the customizable service solutions BSN Sports brings to the table."

UH's current deal with Adidas will end in the summer.
