Honolulu’s newest night market is debuting this Saturday, March 8 at Waterfront Plaza.

Starting March 8, Taste of Aloha will be every second Saturday of the month from 4 to 8 p.m. The night market is designed to be a celebration of culture, cuisine and community, according to event organizer Kevin Nguyen.
“We wanted to create a place for local, small business owners to showcase what they have,” he says. “Hawaiʻi is such a huge melting pot and has so much to share. Being small business owners, we know how hard it can be to get your shot. ‘Taste of Aloha’ reflects Hawaiʻi’s spirit of warmth, love and hospitality. It combines ‘aloha,’ symbolizing kindness and welcome, with ‘taste,’ offering an invitation to experience the islands’ diverse flavors and cultures.”

Dipped by Dee, Aloha Mamacita, NONA, Princess Liz Creations and Aloha Nāwāhine are just a few of the vendors participating in this Saturday’s event. For more information, visit tasteofalohahi.com.
“Our goal is to build a community with local vendors, where we are all able to support each other while creating a community with the public to provide a family-friendly place to gather,” Nguyen says. “We also want people to find some new vendors here at the market.”
