This boba shop is celebrating its grand opening by offering customers a buy-one-get-one free drink deal.

Happy Lemon, the boba tea chain known for its handcrafted drinks and rock salt cheese tea, moved from its former Ward location (1200 Ala Moana Blvd.) to Kōʻula at Ward Village. It’s located close to Dean & Deluca, Nori Bar, Club Pilates and Cino.

While the shop has been soft-open for the past week, it’s celebrating its grand opening on Saturday, March 8. Customers can take advantage of the BOGO offer — buy one drink and get the second drink free — from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The first 100 customers will get a free Happy Lemon tote bag.

Happy Lemon weas founded in Taiwan in 2006 and has expanded to more than 350 locations worldwide. The Ward Village location is the only one in the U.S. to offer a housemade vanilla soft serve ($6), available in a cup or cone with toppings like Oreo crumbs or boba.
The new location features a variety of the business’s signature milk teas, classic brewed teas, fruit teas, fresh fruit smoothies and bubble waffles. You’ll still find Hawaiʻi-exclusive drinks like mango lemon, passionfruit lemon and strawberry lemon slushies ($8 each).
