These revamped lunch specials are some of the best deals in Waikīkī.
Arancino on Beachwalk recently brought back its lunch specials, which are available from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. Prior to shutting down during the Covid-19 pandemic, the eatery was known for offering affordable lunch specials. It reopened last March for the first time since 2020.
Now, these lunch sets are $28 and include a soup or salad, followed by an entrée choice from a select list. But, kamaʻāina can get the lunch set for $21; just show your Hawaiʻi state ID.
The meal starts with the eatery’s signature focaccia bread, and choice of creamy lobster bisque or refreshing Caesar salad with Romaine lettuce, marinated white anchovies, parmigiano Reggiano, croutons and Caesar dressing.
For entrées, choose from pastas like gnocchi with gorgonzola, parmigiano Reggiano and walnuts; penne with spicy housemade garlic tomato sauce; squid ink risotto with lightly spicy tomato and calamari; tagliatelle with prosciutto di parma and mushroom in a parmigiano Reggiano cream sauce; and rigatoni in a Bolognese sauce.
This is the only Arancino location to have gnocchi. If you love cheese, this gorgonzola dish is ideal. It’s indulgent, cheesy and heavy — just a heads up before that kanak attack hits.
Other entrée selections include pizza margherita with fresh mozzarella, basil and tomato sauce; pizza with spicy salami, fresh mozzarella and tomato sauce, and a housemade panini with mortadella, stracciatella, arugula and pistachio.
Validated parking is available at the Bank of Hawaiʻi building.
