Artizen by MW

On March 17 only, Artizen by MW is offering truffle corned beef and cabbage with potatoes and carrots ($27). Preorder online; this dish is available for dine-in and takeout.

Black Shamrock Tavern              

Black Shamrock Tavern is featuring JJ’s famous corned beef and cabbage pizza ($23), which is available this whole week leading up to St. Patrick’s Day. It features corned beef with cabbage slaw, a drizzle of tangy Guinness and mustard sauce.  

On March 17, the biz will feature corned beef and cabbage sandwiches, cheese and pepperoni pizza slices, fish and chips and cups ‘o fries.

Da Burger Wing Hub’s March specials are centered on the Irish holiday. Choose from Guinness mac and cheese ($20) — finished tableside in a Parmesan cheese wheel; available while supplies last — corned beef served with potatoes and cabbage ($21), corned beef hash short rib burger ($30) and bread pudding with cinnamon apples ($12) for dessert.

This bakery is bringing back its Irish soda bread ($9.79) during March. The bread consists of whole wheat and white flour, honey, raisins and buttermilk. They’re available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and they will be at the store every day from March 15 to 17.

HI Pie Bakery + Café

HI Pie Bakery + Café is featuring a variety of Irish-themed dishes as specials for this month. Choose from potato dill ($12) and corned beef and cabbage ($13) pot pies; potato, bacon cheddar ($8) and spinach, broccoli, feta quiches ($8); Irish cream cold brew ($7); and Irish apple cakes served with vanilla custard ($8).

Kona Brewing Hawaiʻi Kai

Kona Brewing Hawaiʻi Kai will run themed cocktail specials through March 22. The Lucky Leprechaun is served with a shot and is made with Midori, lemonade and Jameson. Meanwhile, Thin Mint is a twist on the popular Girl Scout cookie. This cocktail features kahlua, Bailey’s, crème de cacao and peppermint schnapps.

Murphy’s Bar & Grill

Chinatown-based Murphy’s Bar & Grill is known for going all-out for St. Patrick’s Day.

On March 16, the eatery will be serving specialty dishes from 4 to 8 p.m. The selection includes Galway oyster shooters with “merry mix” ($2 each); fish and chips with malt vinegar ($19.50); corned beef and cabbage sandwich with fries ($19.50); and Irish beef stew (cup $10, bowl $12.50; bowl with rice $15).

On March 17, the eatery will be celebrating its 37th St. Patrick’s Day. You can look forward to dishes like corned beef and cabbage served with mashed potatoes and green beans ($28.50), Guinness braised lamb shank served with mashed potatoes ($32.50), Caesar salad topped with sweet chili salmon ($31.50) and Gaelic steak ($34.50). The latter features New York steak topped with green peppercorn sauce and is served with mashed potatoes and green beans.

For dessert ($10 each), indulge in Irish whiskey cake topped with chocolate sauce and fresh whipped cream, bread pudding topped with an Irish whiskey sauce and fresh whipped cream, or key lime pie.

Sweet Revenge Honolulu

Sweet Revenge Honolulu’s specialty St. Patrick’s Day desserts include coffee panna, Irish coffee and grasshopper pies. Most pies will cost $13.

The Local General Store

The Kaimukī-based James Beard semi-finalist will start specials on March 14 and they will run through St. Patrick’s Day.

Special dishes will be available for pre-order on March 13 via The Local General Store’s website (early access for newsletter subscribers).

Specialty dishes include house-brined corned beef ($16 per pound) featuring Griffith Livestock beef, and housemade sauerkraut ($12) and whole grain beer mustard ($7), crafted with Kona Brewing Hawaiʻi’s Lavaman Red Ale. Preorders are sold out for the corned beef, but the business will have a limited amount available for walk-ins.

Zippy’s Restaurants

Zippy’s is bringing back two specials that are available on March 17 only. Its corned beef cabbage plate ($20.25 in Honolulu) features a bed of stewed cabbage topped with corned beef and served with two scoops of rice and mac salad. Meanwhile, the Pot O’ Gold soup ($5.10 in Honolulu) is a savory, creamy soup with bits of corned beef, cabbage and potatoes.
