Celebrate the mathematical constant with these sweet and savory pies. Some are available only on 3.14, while others will be featured for multiple days.
Hawaiian Pie Company

Hawaiian Pie Company is bringing back its mystery boxes and mini chocolate chess pies ($8.50), complete with a PI symbol decoration. Mystery pie boxes cost $23 and feature a full-size 9-inch pie. The catch: you won’t know what kind of pie you’ve got until you opened the box.
The chocolate chess pie is Southern-style specialty flavor with a delectable chocolate taste and silky texture. This mini treat is only available on March 14.

HI Pie Bakery & Café
This Haleʻiwa bakery will feature a special chocolate chip cookie pie on March 14 only. Other specialty flavors will be announced on Pi Day. There will also be a raffle that customers can enter with purchase, and a winner will be chosen at the end of the day, according to business owner Casey Burns.

KITH Treats Hawaiʻi

To celebrate Pi Day, Kith Treats created eight location-exclusive, pie-centric ice cream specials that represent classic pie flavors. Each of its location has a specialty flavor that launches on March 14.
Kith Treats’ Honolulu location is featuring a coconut cream ice cream flavor. It includes a graham cracker crust base layer with vanilla ice cream that’s infused with coconut quadratini and Golden Grahams. It’s then topped with whipped cream and toasted coconut flakes.
This treat costs $12 and available March 14 to 30.

Sweet Revenge Honolulu

Sweet Revenge Honolulu, which is known for its pies baked from scratch with local ingredients, will offer a variety of specialty pies from March 11 to 15.
Savory pies include its popular chicken pot pie ($13) and beef shepherd’s pie ($13). The baked chicken pot pie features a flaky butter crust filled with chicken, gravy, peas and carrots. The dessert pie selection will include lilikoʻi chiffon ($12), lilimansi ($14) — a twist on a key lime pie that features fresh, local calamansi and lilikoʻi in a graham cracker crust — and pumpkin crunch ($13). The latter comprises local Aloun Farm pumpkin mousse in a butter crust with a walnut butter crunch topping and whipped cream.
The bakery will also be featuring St. Patrick’s Day-themed pies like grasshopper and Irish coffee. Most of these pies will cost $13 each.
Pickup is available by preorders at the bakery’s kitchen (Robello Lane) or at the farmers markets (see schedule on the bakery’s website).

The Local General Store

This Kaimukī-based bakery will start its Pi Day specials on March 14 and continue them through St. Patrick’s Day. Choose from sweet flavors like PB&J pie ($18) — featuring fresh Jaboticaba jam from Shinsato Farm and a pretzel crust — and mango chiffon pie ($18) made with Mao Farms mango (limited quantities available for walk-ins). Savory pies include the beef and mushroom pot pie ($21), which features Griffith Livestock beef and local beer.

Zippy’s Restaurants

Zippy’s is celebrating National Pi Day with its strawberry gelatin cream pie ($16.75 in Honolulu). This dessert features a homemade pie crust with custard filling and a thin layer of vanilla chiffon, and is finished with strawberry gelatin and a whipped cream border.
This dessert is only available on March 14, while supplies last.
