"Kalohe is a 55-pound, 3-year-old Terrier mix with a heart as big as his smile. He has been in and out of the shelter — through no fault of his own — since August 2024, waiting patiently for his loving family," says Hawaiian Humane Society.

"Despite the ups and downs, Kalohe hasn’t lost his spark — and now he’s more than ready to bring his love to a home of his own. ... This sweet boy loves to play and show off his skills in exchange for praise and tasty treats. Exploring the outdoors with his favorite people brings him joy, whether it’s a simple walk around the neighborhood or a fun day at the beach.

"Thanks to the Reid Krucky Memorial Fund, his adoption fee is waived, and he’ll head home with a special goodie bag to help him settle in.

"If you're looking for a loyal companion with lots of love to give, Kalohe might just be your perfect match! Meet him at the Hawaiian Humane Society’s Kosasa Family campus at Hoʻopili, open daily from 11 a.m to 7 p.m."
