Wahiawa-based Da Burger Wing Hub is known for its epic, loaded burgers and juicy chicken wings, but having a bar space has always been a part of the plan.
“We have a chill bar and handcrafted drinks with fresh flavors to go with our menu,” says business owner Arjay Mijares. “That was always the plan, since I’ve opened it (the restaurant). We want to bring the Waikīkī vibe to Wahiawa, but make sure our clientele feels at home.”

The burger shop’s new cocktail menu includes a variety of tequila-, gin-, vodka- and whiskey-based cocktails. Options include the DBWH (Da Burger Wing Hub) margarita ($15), lychee martini ($12) and liliko‘i mule ($12). If you want something with a social media-worthy presentation, go for the smoked Old Fashioned ($15), which features Elijah Craig Bourbon and chocolate bitters.
“We’ll have featured cocktails every month,” Mijares says. “In May, we’ll have Cinco de Mayo-themed and Mexican drinks.”

Da Burger Wing Hub also features monthly food specials. Customers can enjoy loaded pulled pork nachos ($18) and a Cajun taco salad ($18). The latter includes a larger-than-life, deep-fried tortilla shell filled with salad topped with pico de gallo, fresh avocado, Cajun shrimp, jalapenos and ancho ranch dressing.

Stay tuned — May food specials will include fun dishes like birria burgers and chimichanga burritos, according to Mijares.
