"Willow is a spirited 33-pound, 8-year-old Mountain Cur mix, who came to us when a compassionate Good Samaritan discovered her wandering in their yard," said the Hawaiian Humane Society. "Upon arrival, Willow was facing significant challenges – a fractured right hind leg, malnourishment, and dehydration. After careful assessment, our skilled Veterinary Services team determined amputation was the best course of action."
"Since her surgery, Willow has shown remarkable resilience, adapting beautifully to life as a 'tri-pawd.'"
"Despite her difficult past, Willow is a joy on leash walks, moving at a leisurely pace to take in her surroundings. This gentle, affectionate senior girl would flourish in a quiet, peaceful home where she can receive the love and attention she deserves."
