The early bird gets the worm — or in this case, a loaded breakfast bagel.

EARL Hawaiʻi, known for its East Coast-style subs, just launched a new breakfast menu at all of its locations. The catch: it’s only available right now from 8 to 10 a.m. on weekends. The plan is to eventually have it available daily, according to EARL Hawaiʻi owner Justin Parvizimotlagh.

The bacon, egg and cheese bagel is ideal if you’re craving traditional breakfast fare. It’s the most popular order, but the steak, egg and cheese bagel ($12) is also right up there, according to Parvizimotlagh, who says the latter is like the breakfast version of the eatery’s signature Philly cheesesteak.
Other fillings options include sausage, egg and cheese; ham, egg and cheese ($8) and veggie, egg and cheese ($8). The latter is reminiscent of the eatery’s veggie cheesesteak.

Parvizimotlagh recommends the pork roll bagel ($10) if you want something unique. This breakfast sandwich is an East Coast staple and is a must if you want something ultra savory.
The eatery also offers hash browns ($3 each or two for $5) as a side. Pro tip: You can get them as a side, or opt for them inside your bagel for an extra layer of crunchy textures.

Stay tuned — when it comes to breakfast, EARL Hawaiʻi is just getting started. Breakfast drinks, including a variety of cold brews, will be added soon to the menu, according to Parvizimotlagh.
