A world of curses, butterbeer and Quidditch will descend upon Honolulu this summer. The entire Harry Potter series, which consists of eight movies, will return to big screens at Consolidated Theatres across Oʻahu from July 1 through Aug. 23. Tickets cost $5.
Potter, joined by sidekicks Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, sets off on a series of adventures at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The return of the movies to the big screen is a chance for millenial parents, who grew up with the series, to take their own keiki to the theater.

“Some 24 years after the first Harry Potter film enchanted audiences, this epic series remains a beloved tradition for generations of our guests to take in year-after-year,” said Jenna Mimaki, promotions and events manager for Consolidated Theatres, in a written statement. “We’re excited to have even more presentations and locations available to moviegoers this summer, making catching the entire line-up all the more seamless.”
Here is the schedule:
July 1 and 5: “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone"
July 8 and 12: “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets”
July 15 and 19: “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban”
July 22 and 26: “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”

Aug. 5 and 9: “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”
Aug. 12 and 16: “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1”
