Meet KaliKat, a 15-pound, nine-year-old Domestic Shorthair mix, who was brought to us in late May after her owner was no longer able to provide for her care, said Hawaiian Humane Society.
"KaliKat is the embodiment of love and affection, with her heart-shaped nose to prove it. Although she may be a little reserved at first, it doesn’t take her long to show her loving side by rubbing her belly all over you or melting into your lap for head and chin scratches.
"KaliKat is a Kyle’s Fund recipient, meaning that her adoption fee is waived and she will be going home with goodies to help her settle in with her new ʻohana.
KaliKat is at the Hawaiian Humane Society's Mōʻiliʻili Campus, open daily from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. More adoptable pets are online here.
