Cheddar is Maui Humane Society’s Pet of the Week! He was found lost in Wailuku and brought to MHS back in March, the nonprofit said.
At first, he "was shy and unsure of everything — but with a little love and patience, [he has] come out of [his] shell."
He has made lots of doggy friends and absolutely loves going on adventures. Whether it’s a hike or a car ride, he's always ready to tag along.
"When [he's] really happy, [he does] something called 'Cheddar Chomps' —it’s this silly little teeth-chattering thing that makes everyone smile," MHS said. "It’s just [his] way of showing joy! He is sweet, playful and ready to find a forever ‘ohana that will love him."
He's sure "to bring a little extra cheese to your life!"
