The Oʻahu-based duo of North Shore brothers Nyjah Music & Zyah Rhythm just released the new single, “You Should Be,” on June 30.

A few months ago, their voices were featured in the soundtrack for Disney’s live action “Lilo & Stitch,” which hit theaters on May 23. Today, that song, produced by their uncle, Bruno Mars, has more than 5 million streams on Spotify. The brothers have an average of about 760,000 monthly listeners on the streaming platform.

The duo is known for songs like “The Island Girl is Mine,” inspired by Michael Jackson's song “The Girl is Mine,” released Nov. 8, 2024. This year, the brothers released “Always on My Mind,” produced by Nasri Atweh, on March 28. They also released “Love Slow,” produced by Franskiiz, on March 6.

This spring, the brothers were also featured artists at the Ko Olina Children’s Festival, a benefit for Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women & Children, which took place on Saturday, May 10, at the Grand Lawn at the Ulua Lagoon, also known as Lagoon No. 4. For the musical duo, the Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women & Children has a personal connection.

“I was born there, and so are my siblings,” Nyjah, 16, told Aloha State Daily earlier this year. “I was actually in the NICU and also my little brother was, and I would love to give back to that medical center.”

The brothers could not be reached immediately for comment regarding the single.
