"Ben is a 4-pound, 6-month-old Domestic Shorthair mix, who was brought into our care in early May after he was found wandering around near the airport in Honolulu," says the Hawaiian Humane Society.
"Ben may be reserved at first, but don't let that fool you — this gentle guy has so much love to give. He just needs a little time and understanding to feel safe to show you his wonderful personality.
"With a calm approach and some tasty Churu treats, Ben will let you into his world. Once he does, you'll be rewarded with the sweetest head nudges and adorable biscuit-making sessions as he asks for gentle pets. These quiet moments of connection are when Ben truly shines."
Ben is looking for someone who appreciates that good things take time. Could that be you? Head to the Hawaiian Humane Society Kosasa Family Campus at Hoʻopili, open daily from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
