Budget Bites: Kamitoku Japanese Hot Pot’s $29.99 AYCE wagyu hot pot

This all-you-can-eat hot pot deal is from Aug. 18 to 24 during dinner only.

Everyone’s looking to save money and get the most bang for their buck. This series will show you where you can save while still savoring a good meal.

This $29.99 all-you-can-eat wagyu hot pot deal sounds too good to be true. But Kamitoku Japanese Hot Pot, located in Market City Shopping Center, is offering this special to customers from Aug. 18 to 24.

The AYCE wagyu hot pot is available during dinner only. It includes the eatery’s signature wagyu beef bone broth, which is made from premium wagyu bones, and includes pork belly, US rib-eye and wagyu eye-round. The experience costs $29.99 per adult, and $15 for kids. Children ages 6 years and under eat free. There’s a 90-minute limit per group.

Customers can select from a variety of hot pot broths. Popular options include shoyu beef broth, creamy beef bone, miso and sukiyaki. The AYCE deal also includes housemade sesame and ponzu sauces, along with won bok and bok choy.

Noodles and rice are not included in the AYCE price, but you can always purchase them a la carte.

Craving something other than wagyu? You can still order off the eatery’s a la carte menu. Popular appetizers include seared wagyu rib-eye nigiri sushi (two pieces for $15), ‘ahi negitoro ($8), and wagyu rib-eye steak ($32 for 6 ounces). The latter is delivered to your table sizzling on a hot skillet and comes with green onions, bean sprouts, garlic chips and black pepper.

Kamitoku Japanese Hot Pot is open from 5 to 10 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays and from 5 to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
