Honolulu Little League's championship hopes have come to an end.

On Tuesday, Honolulu fell 3-0 to South Carolina's Irmo Little League as Irmo's Brady Westbrooks held the Honolulu bats at bay with a shutout.

Honolulu Little League finishes the tournament 1-2, succumbing to the Little League World Series' double elimination format.

Honolulu opened with a 5-1 loss to Connecticut's Fairfield National Little League on Friday but staved off elimination with a 9-1 victory over Clarendon Hills Little League of Illinois on Sunday.

Under manager Gerald Oda, Honolulu Little League went a combined 11-0 in the 2018 and 2022 editions of the Little League World Series, winning both. The team's two losses in 2025 were the first that Oda had in Williamsport.

"It's baseball, it was a great game," Oda said at a press conference following Tuesday's game. "Great game on both sides. I'm just proud of our kids, how they just fought. We just came up short. I'm proud of Irmo. What an incredible game they had (Monday) and for them to come back and play another game, a lot of love and respect for them."

The 2025 Little League World Series continues on with games through the weekend. The U.S. and International champions will be crowned on Saturday, with the two winners on each side of the bracket meeting on Sunday for the world championship.
