Some of Fiji’s most popular songs on Spotify include “Sweet Darlin,’” with more than 31 million streams; “Loney Days” with J Boog which has more than 28.5 million streams; and “Jowenna,” “Shoot Down” with Maoli and Jamey Ferguson, and “Morning Ride,” which each have more than 16.3 million streams.
Following his death, entertainers took to social media to share tributes. Among those posting was Glenn Awong, of Maoli. He celebrated Fiji at a recent concert, calling him “the king of island-reggae music.”
Also sharing memories on social media was Dwayne Johnson, known as The Rock, and Iam Tongi, among others.
