Meet Broccoli Cheddar from Maui Humane Society. He is a domestic shorthair, just over 10 years old and weighs nine pounds.
If pets could talk, he'd say, "Life hasn’t always been easy for me, but I’ve never stopped being loving and hopeful. In June, a kind community member found me skinny, sick and wearing a flea collar. She took me in and cared for me until I could get the medical help I desperately needed. When I arrived at MHS, the vet team worked hard to make me healthy again. Through every exam, every medication, and every treatment, I stayed gentle and affectionate, always ready to nuzzle the hands that cared for me. I may be older, but my heart is full of love and gratitude. I’m the first to greet you when you enter the Cat 'Ohana, because I believe every new face might be the person who will finally give me the safe, warm home I’ve been waiting for!"
