You can enjoy these new Oktoberfest specials for a limited time.

Located in Kapolei Commons, Village Bottle Shop & Tasting Room recently launched its Oktoberfest specials, which are available until mid-October.

While Oktoberfest takes place around mid-September to the first Sunday in October, Village Bottle Shop & Tasting Room’s specials will last a little bit longer.

Customers can enjoy a rotating selection of specialty Oktoberfest beers, including Firestone Walker Oaktoberfest and Samuel Adams Octoberfest. The Oktoberfest beers will be available in 1-liter steins ($16-$24, depending on the beer).

The Oktoberfest menu features specials like the German-style poutine, which is ideal for sharing. Beef tallow fries are topped with shredded pork, fennel caraway gravy, crispy pickled onions and cheddar cheese. Since the fries are made with beef tallow, they boast a rich, savory flavor.

Bratwurst is featured two ways. You can get the iconic sausage topped with sauerkraut and whole grain beer mustard on a roll, or served pūpū style ($12). The currywurst features sliced bratwurst served over a bed of sauerkraut with a side of curry ketchup.

Fun fact: The curry ketchup and lemon aioli are currently available as dipping sauces for fries. These sauces are not usually on the eatery’s menu.

The pork schnitzel sandwich ($15) is always a crowd favorite. The fried pork cutlet is topped with shredded cabbage, pickled onions and lemon aioli on a soft brioche bun. The cutlet is crispy on the outside and flavorful inside, and its crunchy exterior contrasts nicely with the fluffy bun.

On Oct. 2, the eatery will be featuring a “Keep the Stein” night from 5 p.m. Customers who come to celebrate Oktoberfest and order the featured Samuel Adams beer in the liter mugs will get to keep the glass.
