Musubi Café Iyasume recently opened its second location in Ala Moana Center. Its original location is in The Lanai (the food court area by Macy’s).
This second location is by the shopping center’s Makai Market Food Court, in the former space of Curry House.
The business is known for its handmade musubi, made with high-quality Koshihikari rice and a variety of fillings.
Popular options include teriyaki Spam, tuna mayo, salmon and double shrimp Spam. Customers can also find fun combos like shiso Spam; avocado, eel and egg with Spam; mentaiko; ume; cheese Spam; spicy tuna mayo and more.
The café also offers cooked dishes like curry bowls.
We’re told this location is open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Musubi Café Iyasume now has seven locations in Hawaiʻi.
