What: Basalt’s Christmas prix fixe dinner ($80) is available on Dec. 24 to 25. It includes a choice of seafood chowder (clams, shrimp and fish) or poached pear salad (Cambazola cheese, candied mac nuts and mixed greens); entrée choice of soy miso braised short ribs (sauteed corn and shrimp with creamy mashed potatoes), pan-roasted duck breast (with roasted vegetables and Luxardo cherry sauce) or fresh Island catch (green papaya relish and Thai lobster curry sauce); and choice of chocolate mousse tart (with Hazelnut crunch and mango coulis) or lemon mascarpone cheesecake for dessert.
