Inari bombs. Tempura arabiki corn dogs. Kalua pig “pizzadillas.” These are just several of the dishes you’ll find on Artizen by MW’s happy hour menu.
The eatery launched its happy hour menu about a month ago. It’s served from 3 to 6 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. The happy hour menu features exclusive dishes — ranging from $5 to $12 — that you won’t find on Artizen’s lunch or dinner menus.

Inari bombs ($9) include three pieces per order. The petite inari are stuffed with sushi rice and topped with shoyu ‘ahi and torched aioli. It’s the perfect size — substantial but not overly filling, so you can try other dishes.

You can choose between spinach or miso eggplant dip; both are served with won ton chips. We couldn’t stop eating the ultra-creamy spinach dip, which paired perfectly with the crunchy won ton chips.

The tempura arabiki corn dogs ($9) are one-bite wonders. They’re mini-sized, so you don’t have to worry about filling up on them. The filling-to-batter ratio is on point, and the Arabiki sausage delivers the perfect meaty texture and satisfying “snap,” due to its casing.

The curry fried chicken ($9) was one of our favorite dishes. These Ludovico Farm chicken wings boast a delectably crispy exterior and juicy, succulent interior. There’s a garlic aioli for dipping, but the wings are flavorful in and of themselves.

This pizza-quesadilla hybrid features a flour tortilla topped with tomato sauce and Mountain View Farms pork. It’s hearty and perfect for sharing. We especially enjoyed the tender pork and the pizzadilla’s thicker crust.

The steamed dumplings ($9) include four per order. They’re filled with Mountain View Farms pork and served in a ginger scallion soy sauce. These pack some heat, but their petite size makes them fun to eat.
Other happy hour menu items include crispy fried chicken skins ($8), barbecue or garlic Parmesan fries ($5) and the featured dessert of the day ($6). During our visit, chocolate truffles were available.
We’re told the dessert of the day will vary, depending on the restaurant’s inventory.
Happy hour drink specials include $2 off beers, $4 off wines by the glass, and $2 off spirits and cocktails.
Bonus: If you’re enjoying the happy hour dishes during dinner time, you can also order a la carte dishes from the eatery’s featured holiday course menu. Choose from starters ($9 to $10 each) like caprese salad, green papaya and pork soup and chicken and vegetable lumpia; entrees ($33 to $35 each) like Mountain View Farms pork cutlet and crab-crusted monchong; and desserts ($9 to $10 each) like pumpkin crunch crepe cake, black forest Yule log, and a chestnut mousse Mont Blanc.
