Though the University of Hawai‘i men's basketball team only has one game in the week ahead, the contest itself will carry considerable weight in the Big West Conference standings.

The Rainbow Warriors (11-3, 3-1 Big West) split their road trip over the weekend, routing UC Riverside 88-45 on Thursday before coming out flat in an 83-73 loss at UC San Diego on Saturday.

Despite the loss, the 'Bows are positioned in second place in the conference standings. On Saturday, current conference leader UC Irvine (11-5, 4-0) comes to the Stan Sheriff Center for a 7 p.m. game on Saturday. Were the Rainbow Warriors to win, they would grab an early share of first place in the Big West standings. Tickets for the game can be purchased at this link.

Meanwhile, the UH women's basketball team went winless over the weekend, falling to 6-8 overall and 0-4 in Big West games. The Rainbow Wahine began their season 4-0 but are 2-8 since. The 'Bows will play at UC Irvine on Saturday at noon HST.

On the volleyball court, the No. 2 Hawai‘i men's volleyball team swept NJIT over the weekend and will host No. 7 Loyola-Chicago on Thursday and Friday. Both matches are set to begin at 7 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center. While the Rainbow Warriors are off to a 2-0 start, the series will be Loyola-Chicago's first of the season.

Tickets for the volleyball series between the Rainbow Warriors and Ramblers can be purchased here.
