The Honolulu Zoo is one of 20 across the U.S. looking to land a spot on the list of Best Zoos in America in the USA Today 10Best Readers' Choice Awards. The awards aim to rank the 10 best in several areas of travel and lifestyle.

“Being nominated as the ‘Best Zoo in America’ is truly an honor for the Honolulu Zoo and a testament to the dedication of our animal care, education, and conservation efforts our team has done over the years,” Assistant Zoo Director Jacqueline Peeler said in a recent announcement from the City and County of Honolulu. “We’re incredibly thankful to the Honolulu Zoological Society and the SSA Group for being amazing partners in supporting the zoo’s mission everyday.”

The zoo has also been nominated for the 10Best list of Best Zoo Memberships.

You can vote once a day here and here until 6 a.m. Monday, March 9. Winners will be announced March 18.
