Both University of Hawai‘i basketball teams are closing out their respective regular seasons. Following a senior night victory, the Rainbow Wahine will play at UC Riverside on Thursday and at Long Beach State. The 'Bows will stay on the Mainland through the Big West Tournament from March 11 to 14 in Henderson, Nev.
Meanwhile, the UH men's basketball team will host UC Riverside on Thursday and Long Beach State on Saturday. Both games begin at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at this link. The Rainbow Warriors are currently tied atop the Big West standings with UC Irvine.
The No. 3 Hawai‘i men's volleyball team, fresh off a series sweep over BYU, will host Pepperdine on Wednesday and Friday at 7 p.m. Tickets can be found at this link.
The Hawai‘i baseball team will begin Big West Conference play against Cal Poly with games from Friday to Sunday. Ticket availability is limited for all three games. Friday and Saturday's games will begin at 6:35 p.m., while Sunday's begins at 1:05 p.m. Meanwhile, the Hawai‘i softball team will begin conference play at UC Davis on Friday and Saturday.
UH's beach volleyball team will host the Heineken Queen's Cup from Thursday to Saturday at Queen's Beach and are set to play a total of six contests, weather permitting.
Local PacWest teams
Hawai‘i Pacific's men's basketball team was the lone local team in the PacWest to qualify for the conference tournament, which runs from Thursday to Saturday in San Diego. The Sharks will face Vanguard in the first round of the conference tournament at 12:45 p.m. HST.
The Hawai‘i Pacific softball team has a pair of doubleheaders against Jessup on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Sharks will have another set of doubleheaders on Sunday and Monday against Dominican. All doubleheaders will begin at noon at Sand Island.
HPU's baseball team will have a four-game home series against Azusa Pacific at Hans L'Orange Park. Thursday and Friday's games begin at 5:30 p.m., while a doubleheader on Saturday will begin at 2 p.m.
Chaminade's baseball team has a four-game series against Jessup at Central O‘ahu Regional Park. First pitch on each day from Friday to Sunday will begin at 2 p.m., while Saturday will serve as a doubleheader. Meanwhile, Chaminade's softball teams will have doubleheaders against Jessup on Friday and Saturday. Both begin at noon.
Hawai‘i-Hilo's softball teams will host Dominican for noon doubleheaders on Wednesday and Thursday, while its baseball team will host 3 p.m. doubleheaders against Biola on Wednesday and Thursday.
UFC 326
Wai‘anae's Max Holloway will fight for his UFC BMF belt defense in the main event of UFC 326 against Charles Oliveira in Las Vegas on Saturday. The main card begins at 4 p.m. HST and will be streamed on Paramount+.
