The wait is over — Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaiʻi is officially opening its first Honolulu store on Friday, March 13. Its soft opening is tomorrow.
The store is located in Kaimukī by Sushiya and Kaimukī’s Boston Pizza; it’s in the former space of Cricket Wireless.

The store offers limited seating and is conducive to grab-and-go orders. The menu features a variety of hot and cold lattes, teas, cold brews, Koffee Koolers (the business’s version of Frappuccinos), lemonades and smoothies.
Something unique about the business is that they only use ice in its energy drinks and smoothies. We're told that iced coffees and iced lattes feature ice cubes that are made out of recycled coffee — specifically, the business’s 10% Kona Coffee Blend and American Roast.

The caramel wave — a mix of caramel and vanilla — and three waves lattes are customer favorites, according to restaurateur Ted Davenport, who is operating the Honolulu store in partnership with Galu and Diane Tagovailoa, parents of NFL quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
The three waves latte features a blend of coconut, caramel and macadamia nut.

The store will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays to Fridays; from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.
Limited customer parking is available in the parking lot fronting the store. Street parking is also available.
