Honolulu Coffee Company’s Bakery on King store is celebrating its first anniversary on Tuesday, July 21. The business will be giving away free dot cakes with each purchase on July 21 only.

The viral dot cake trend highlights desserts centered on fluffy cakes topped with colorful, round sprinkles. Honolulu Coffee Co.’s dot cakes feature white cake soaked in Lokahi blend espresso with layers of coffee buttercream, housemade granola and sprinkles.

As part of the anniversary festivities, customers can take advantage of double loyalty rewards points for all purchase made at Bakery on King from July 21 to 26. The business will also be doing an Instagram giveaway — valued at $400 — from July 21 to 26.

On July 21, the bakery will also be launching its new bakery boxes and bakery paper. Its food menu remains the same, but this location features a variety of exclusive croissant flavors. Popular choices include chocolate brownie, cereal milk, ube Chantilly and ham and cheese. The bakery even has a Dubai croissant, which features a brownie filling.

Besides its espresso drinks and specialty beverages, the café also features acai bowls, smoothies, breakfast dishes (served until 4 p.m.), handcrafted sandwiches, and house specials.

Popular options include the omurice, which features kalua pork and ginger garlic fried rice; avocado toast; the loco moco, which has a coffee-infused demi glace; turkey ranch BLT and deli-style egg salad sandwich. The sandwiches are made with Japanese-style white bread.

The bakery is open daily from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
