Through a fun video on its Instagram — you’ll have to watch until the end — the business revealed that it will be opening this year in SALT At Our Kakaʻako.

Three days ago, the business posted a short video clip with the caption, “Coconut wireless is coming … should we enter the chat?”

Last January, Chubbies Burgers announced it was closing its Kaimukī location; its final day of service was Feb. 1. Boarded Up by Chubbies Burgers, which is owned by Jeff Nedry, opened soon after in the neighborhood in the former Hokkaido Ramen space.

Chubbies Burgers — which began in 2016 and operated as a food truck for five years — was known for its burgers and sandwiches made with fresh, quality ingredients. Customer favorites included the ‘50s burger, Chub fries and milkshakes.
