As a local girl from ʻEwa Beach, I know how easy it is to rely on coconut wireless — getting most of our facts from the “I heard from so and so” conversation. Social media has become today’s version of that conversation. You can stay up to date with your family on the Mainland, hear gossip about local celebrities and make new friends, all through a device that fits in your pocket.
Prior to starting my career here in Hawai’i, I received a bachelor’s degree in creative media, as well as business marketing from the University of Hawai’i - West O’ahu.
While at Aloha State Daily, my goal is to help local news feel as natural in your feed as your friends’ stories. I want to make it easy to stay informed — one swipe, one story, one moment of connection at a time. Hawai’i has stories worth telling, and I’m here to make sure you don’t miss a beat.
