Rom-coms for mom back in theaters for limited showings

Consolidated Theatres is bringing back some film favorites in time for Mother’s Day. Watch movies such as “Bridget Jones’s Diary” and “Miss Congeniality” on the big screen at theatres across Oʻahu.

Consolidated Theatres is bringing four films to the big screen in time for Mother’s Day. 

 “We wanted to help make this year’s Mother’s Day celebrations both special and seamless,” said Jenna Mimaki, promotions and events manager for Consolidated Theatres, in a written statement. “Every mom deserves a moment to unwind—and what better way than to enjoy a movie night with a Mom-mosa and loved ones!” 

The series will play at theatres at Ward, Mililani and Kapolei. The featured films include: 

  • “Miss Congeniality” – 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7
  • “About Time” – 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 8
  • “Magic Mike” – 4 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 10
  • “Bridget Jones’s Diary” – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 11

Consolidated Theatres operates almost 100 screens on Oʻahu. The company has had a presence in Hawaiʻi since 1917. Buy tickets.
