The University of Hawai‘i women's volleyball team has released its 2025 schedule.
Hawai‘i's 11-match nonconference slate begins with the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic on Aug. 29. The Rainbow Wahine will play in three preseason tournaments — two at home and one at the Stanford Tournament in California.
The 'Bows will play against three teams that played in the 2024 NCAA Tournament in Marquette, Stanford and Texas State.
From there, UH will play its final Big West Conference slate, beginning with UC Riverside on Sept. 26. Hawai‘i will join the Mountain West Conference as a full-time member beginning in 2026.
Hawai‘i has won five straight Big West championships, including two straight conference tournaments. The 2025 Big West Conference tournament will take place in Long Beach, Calif. from Nov. 26-29.
The Rainbow Wahine have qualified for 31 consecutive NCAA Tournaments since 1993. The only NCAA tournament UH did not participate in since 1993 was the spring tournament in 2021. The Big West and Ivy League were the two only conferences of 30 to cancel their season due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the spring of 2021.
