Talk about a tasty way to give back.
Kyo-ya Hotels & Resorts is supporting the Children’s Miracle Network at Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women & Children through its “Burgers & Mai Tais for Miracles” campaign.
Through the month of July, for every featured burger and Mai Tai sold at the participating Marriott Bonvoy properties, $1 will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network at Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women & Children. Participating resorts include Sheraton Waikīkī Beach Resort; The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort; Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa, Sheraton Princess Kaʻiulani Waikīkī Beach; and Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa.

The campaign is part of Kyo-ya Hotels & Resorts’ ongoing partnership with Kapiʻolani Medical Center, which has been Hawai‘i’s only Children Miracle Network hospital since 1984. The money raised will be used to fund specialized programs and essential services for children and their families.
There’s a variety of burgers and Mai Tais to choose from at all five Hawai‘i hotels.

Mai Tai Bar at The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort offers a Royal double smashed burger ($30) — double beef patty on a brioche bun with cheddar cheese and Pink Palace secret sauce — and its signature Royal Hawaiian Mai Tai ($22), made with fresh pineapple and orange juice, orgeat, Bacardi light rum and Whaler’s dark rum.
This version of the Mai Tai is the resort’s biggest seller; more than 105,000 of them were sold last year, according to Michael Barbera, biplex director of food and beverage for The Royal Hawaiian and Sheraton Waikīkī.

At Sheraton Waikīkī Beach Resort’s Edge Bar, feast on a paniolo cheeseburger ($29) — wagyu beef patty in a toasted brioche bun and smothered with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickled onions and mango barbecue aioli — and the Edge Mai Tai ($20). The latter features Bacardi light rum, dark rum, pineapple, orange juice, sweet sour and RumFire Mix.
At RumFire Waikīkī, you can also get the paniolo cheeseburger and the RumFire Signature Mai Tai ($20), made with Kuleana Huihui SW Reserve, dark rum, pineapple, orange juice, sweet sour and RumFire mix.

The Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa, features three eateries where you can find burgers and Mai Tais.
The Beach Bar is offering its Surfrider burger ($31), Moana Sunset Mai Tai ($23), 1944 Mai Tai ($21), and Moana Mai Tai ($20). The Surfrider burger features an 8-ounce steak-cut beef patty with aged cheddar, pipikaula, Maui onion confit, pickles and roasted garlic aioli on a salt and pepper bun with seasoned fries.
The Moana Sunset Mai Tai ($23) — Kula organic rum infused with hibiscus, lime, passion fruit, fresh pineapple, orgeat, orange cordial, and Kula dark rum float in a souvenir cup — is especially photogenic.
During The Veranda’s afternoon tea, enjoy the Duke’s tea burger set ($80) and the Surfrider Mai Tai ($22). Duke’s tea burger set includes an 8-ounce Surfrider burger served with the sweet tea set offerings and a tropical sorbet. The Surfrider Mai Tai comprises Kuleana Hawaiian Agricole rum, Cointreau, amaretto, pineapple, orange and Mahina dark rum float.
At Vintage 1901 — the resort’s wine-centric lobby bar — you can find the Surfrider burger ($30), Surfrider Mai Tai ($22) and BLAT burger ($31). The latter features a house-cut steak burger with bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato jam, and is served with seasoned fries.

The Splash Bar at Sheraton Princess Kaʻiulani Waikīkī Beach offers the Kaʻiulani wagyu cheeseburger ($29), Aliʻi Mai Tai ($22) and Princess Mai Tai ($20). The burger features a grilled 8-ounce wagyu beef patty topped with housemade garlic aioli sauce, lettuce, tomato and onion on a toasted brioche bun with your choice of American or white cheddar cheese. The Aliʻi Mai Tai includes Kuleana Nanea Agricole rum, Kuleana Huihui Agricole rum, orgeat, dry curacao, fresh lime juice and Angostura bitters. Meanwhile, the Princess Mai Tai features a housemade mai tai mix, light and dark rum and lime juice.
Cliff Dive Grill at Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa is offering the Mo’ Bettah Burger ($27) and Black Rock Mai Tai ($20). The burger comprises an 8-ounce wagyu patty with garlic aioli and cheddar cheese on a brioche bun. The Black Rock Mai Tai includes silver and dark rum, along with orange and tropical juices.
