Four Seasons Resort Lāna‘i has topped the list of the Best Golf Resorts in the U.S., in the USA Today 10Best Readers' Choice Awards. The awards aim to rank the 10 Best in several areas of travel and lifestyle.

“Golfers could spend weeks playing Hawai‘i’s best courses, but the Four Seasons Resort Lāna‘i offers some hard-to-beat features, including a Jack Nicklaus-signature course built on lava outcroppings,” the list reads.

According to the resort’s website, its Manele Golf Course features three holes “perched on cliffs, enlisting the Pacific Ocean as a water hazard," and its five-tee concept "challenges the best golfers." Read more about the course here.

The 10Best list also features resorts and courses in Missouri, Michigan, Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, West Virginia, Indiana and Oregon.

The 10 resorts were among those nominated by an expert panel and voted on by readers. Each have "at least one standout 18-hole course, provide top-notch accommodations and amenities, and offer delicious dining options," as well as other activities, the list notes.

Four Seasons Resort Lāna‘i was recognized as one of the top 20 resorts in Hawai‘i in Condé Nast Traveler's 2025 Readers' Choice Awards. Earlier this year, the resort also ranked No. 2 on U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 list of the 50 Best Hotels in the USA. (The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai on Hawai‘i Island topped that list).
