Today's Hawai‘i Skies was captured by Rudolph Perez at Kapaʻa. "This particular morning was a special one for me and my mom. We were spending time together, and it had been a long, long time since just the two of us sat down, had coffee, and watched a sunrise.

We are both older now, and as an only child, we found ourselves reminiscing about things we had not talked about in quite a while.

Watching the sunrise felt like more than just the start of a new day. It felt like a new beginning. It was a quiet moment in time where a mother and son could simply enjoy the stillness, the peace, and the beauty of being together at home."
