Wai‘anae's Max Holloway, Pearl CIty's Kai Kamaka III good to go at UFC 329

Each UFC 329 fight was made official on Friday morning after all fighters successfully made weight.

LAS VEGAS — UFC 329's highly anticipated main event of Wai‘anae's Max Holloway against Conor McGregor became official after Friday morning's weigh-ins at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Holloway weighed in at 170 pounds for his first welterweight bout, 14 pounds above his previous career-high of 156 pounds.

McGregor successfully made weight as well, hitting the scale at 170.5, half a pound under the welterweight non-championship limit of 171 pounds.

Meanwhile, Pearl City's Kai Kamaka III also made weight for his bout, a featherweight contest on the early preliminary card against England's Luke Riley. Kamaka and Riley both weighed in at the featherweight non-championship limit of 146 pounds.

Following Friday morning's official weigh-ins, every single fighter on the UFC 329 card took part in Friday's ceremonial weigh-ins, where they were able to face off against their opponents for the final time before Saturday. Thousands of fans were inside T-Mobile Arena hours before the free event began.

For the main event, UFC commentator and podcast celebrity Joe Rogan asked Holloway and McGregor how they see themselves performing on Saturday.

"I'm too ferocious, I'm too relentless, if (McGregor's) the missile, I'm the f****** nuke," Holloway said.

Said McGregor: "It's great to be back. Thank you to all the fans here in attendance. I hope you're all ready for a blockbuster event tomorrow night. The Mac is bringing it."

The early preliminary card of UFC 329 begins at 11 a.m. HST and will be streamed live on Paramount+ and UFC Fight Pass.

Kamaka and Riley kick off the preliminary card, which begins at 1 p.m. HST on Paramount+.

Holloway and McGregor are the main event of the main card, which begins at 3 p.m. HST on Paramount+.
