Donalyn Dela Cruz is passionate about storytelling and strategic communications. From reporting to guiding communications for notable leaders in Hawaiʻi, she now runs DDC Consulting. A Wahiawā native who once danced hula under the guidance of the late Kumu Hula Hokulani DeRego, Donalyn earned her BA in journalism at UH Mānoa and a master’s in security studies from the Naval Postgraduate School.
