Customers can opt for red velvet pancakes or waffles; this flavor features a cheesecake and housemade strawberry sauce topping.

If you get the fried chicken and waffles entrée ($17) — which comprises two pieces of bone-in fried chicken thighs drizzled with honey — you can upgrade the plain waffle to the red velvet one for $3.

The savory, crispy fried chicken offsets the sweetness from the waffle and cheesecake topping.

The café’s new Dubai waffles ($22) are ideal for those who prefer a sweeter breakfast. They feature the popular ube waffles topped with pistachio cream sauce, a chocolate drizzle and kataifi topping.

Da 3-Bite feast ($25) is designed for those who want a little bit of everything. This brunch flight includes mini portions of a crab cake Benedict, ube pancake and wagyu loco moco.

The Benedict features a breaded deep-fried crab cake topped with tomato, avocado and the eatery’s creamy Hollandaise. Meanwhile, the ube pancake is topped with ube mascarpone sauce and a berry garnish. The vibrant purple flavor is eye-catching, but the ube flavor isn’t overwhelming. The loco moco features a flavorful wagyu patty topped with one egg and served with a savory gravy over white rice.

If you want a heartier lunch option, go for the 12-ounce Korean rib-eye ($32). It features a sweet soy ginger garlic marinade. All plates come with a side and starch; you can upgrade the latter to the eatery’s popular adobo fried rice.

The GC burger — named after Guieb Café — is sure to satisfy if you want something meaty. The flame-broiled 8-ounce wagyu beef patty is served in a brioche burger bun and is topped with arugula, red onions, mushrooms, bacon, a fried egg and mozzarella cheese. It’s flavorful and full of complementary textures, thanks to the gooey cheese and chew from the mushrooms.

Burgers come with your choice of waffle fries, sweet potato fries, a potato medley or arugula salad.

The café’s Hawaiʻi locations are open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
