My favorite local saying: We basically use 'yow yow' on the daily

ASD's Kady Pascual shares her favorite expression — "Yow yow" — which means to talk too much, gossiping, spilling the tea, etc., depending on who you ask.

When we go to family parties, we all get the aunties in the corner talking up a storm like there's no one else in the room. They're probably talking about who going have baby next, whose friend's son would be perfect for their niece's daughter, or the latest dramas they heard about Jr. Boy.

Growing up, my family would describe that as "yow yowing" or just "yow yow." — which means to talk too much, gossiping, spilling the tea, etc., depending on who you ask.

A lot of the times, we would use yow yow when one of us runs into someone we know in public. That interaction could take anywhere from a couple of minutes to over an hour, causing us to wait around and waste time. Once the interaction would be over, we would poke fun and say, "Ugh. you yow yow too much. The sun wen set already. Gotta go home now!"

Of course, we're always running into someone we know, so we basically use yow yow on the daily.
