Following the agricultural losses caused by the Kona Low storms, the Marriott Waikīkī Collection and Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa launched the Mai Tais & Burgers to Malama campaign. This fundraising campaign — which runs through May 31 — directly supports the Hawaiʻi Farm Bureau and Hawaiʻi Agricultural Foundation to rebuild and restore food production.
Five restaurants across five Marriott-managed properties will donate $1 from every designated burger and mai tai sold to the Hawaiʻi Farmers’ Disaster Relief Fund. The distribution of funds will prioritize farm groups and farms with the greatest need.
The Marriott Waikīkī Collection and Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa ran a similar campaign last year, with donations going to the Children’s Miracle Network at Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women & Children.
There are a variety of mai tais and burgers to choose from.
