Several new retailers and restaurants have recently opened at Ala Moana Center in Honolulu and more are set to open soon, the center announced Tuesday. Here’s what you should know.
What's New:
- Always A.line, a women's clothing brand where every piece is cut and sewn in Hawai‘i, can be found on Level 3 of the ‘Ewa Wing.
- Columbia Sportswear, the flagship brand of the Portland-based Columbia Sportswear Co., can be found on Level 3 of the ‘Ewa Wing. The brand offers outdoor apparel, footwear, accessories and equipment.
- Eyeland Hawai‘i, which offers a selection of eyewear, prescription lenses, and professional adjustment and repair services, can be found on Street Level 1 of the Diamond Head Wing.
- Space 62, where you'll find a VR arcade with games, virtual roller coasters and interactive multiplayer experiences; classic claw machines; and a hidden Pokémon TCG (trading card game) room, can be found on Level 3 of the Mauka Wing.
- Tandoori Express, offering a selection of traditional Indian dishes, can be found on Street Level 1 of the Diamond Head Wing. (ICYMI: You can read more about Tandoori Express from Aloha State Daily's Food and Dining Reporter, Kelli Shiroma Braiotta here).
Coming Soon:
- L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, a fast-casual brand serving up Hawaiian-style plate lunches, is set to open in the Makai Market Food Court on Street Level 1 in May.
- Supreme Dumplings, know for its handcrafted xiao long bao, is set to open on Mall Level 2 of the ‘Ewa Wing in May.
- Molly Tea, a brand founded in Shenzhen, China, that offers a modern take on traditional tea culture, is slated to open in July on Mall Level 2 of the Mauka Wing.
Relocations and renovations:
- Aesop, offering a range of skin, hair and body care products, has relocated its boutique to Mall Level 2 of the 'Ewa Wing.
- Ben Bridge, a full-service personal jeweler, has relocated to Mall Level 2 of the Diamond Head Wing.
- Evo Gadgets, offering a broad selection of tech accessories and electronics, has opened a second location on Level 3 of the Diamond Head Wing. It still operates a kiosk located on Mall Level 2 of the Diamond Head Wing.
- Hollister has reopened on Level 3 of the Diamond Head Wing.
- Laine Honolulu, a woman- and locally owned boutique that offers a curated mix of handcrafted jewelry, clothing, gifts and lifestyle products, has reopened on Level 3 of the ‘Ewa Wing.
- L'Occitane will reopen its boutique on Mall Level 2 of the Diamond Head Wing at the end of April.
- NOHO HOME, which offers a variety of Hawai‘i-inspired home décor products, has relocated to Level 3 of the Mauka Wing.
- Windsor, which offers an assortment of women's fashion, has relocated to a new 10,422-square-foot space on Level 3 of the 'Ewa Wing.
Ala Moana Center opened in 1959 and is the world's largest open-air shopping center with more than 2.4 million square feet of retail space. It offers more than 350 stores and restaurants, including 160 dining options.
